Intern, Marketing
The Aerospace Industries Association, founded in 1919 only a few years after the birth of flight – is seeking a marketing intern to assist the Coordinator, National Aerospace Standards Program.
Applicants may be graduate or undergraduate students and should be able to commit to 20-25 hours / week. This intern position is non-paid, but will offer a travel stipend. Offices are conveniently located nearby the Rosslyn metro station.
Responsibilities:

Assist with domestic and international promotion and marketing efforts for the NAS Standards Program

Generate publicity through various online communication tools and social media outlets

Develop and implement a quarterly calendar of content to engage our members and grow our online social media presence

Manage marketing campaign by assisting with newsletter articles, creating content for blogs
-
Liaison with membership and communication departments
-
Develop marketing concepts to advertise and promote the NAS Standards Program
-
Brainstorm and implement other non-traditional marketing initiatives
-
Research, identify and reach target audiences

Support Coordinator, National Aerospace Standards (NAS) Program with day to day activities
Experience and Qualifications:
-
Excellent oral and verbal communications skills
-
Advanced knowledge of social media
-
Detail-oriented and able to multi-task efficiently
-
Strong project management skills
-
Proficient with MS Office, Publisher, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power Point. Graphic design skills a plus
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are just as important as creativity, and an outgoing personality.
