The Aerospace Industries Association, founded in 1919 only a few years after the birth of flight – is seeking an engineering intern to support the National Aerospace Standards (NAS) Program. NAS standards are developed and maintained by experienced aerospace engineers who are responsible for the maintenance of the NAS Standards (Fasteners) of the aerospace industry.
This intern position is non-paid, but will offer a travel stipend. Offices are conveniently located nearby the Rosslyn metro station.
Experiences and Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are just as important as creativity, and an outgoing personality.
AIA is a premier trade association representing U.S. aerospace and defense manufacturers and industry from commercial aviation and avionics, to manned and unmanned defense systems, to space technologies and satellite communications.
