Vice President, Defense and International Programs
Aerospace Industries Association (Rosslyn, VA) is seeking a Vice President, Defense and International Programs responsible for monitoring, analyzing and recommending actions on defense policy, defense budget, international and national security issues that affect the US aerospace industry's ability to support the Department of Defense and to compete and cooperate in the global and national marketplace. Such issues include defense policy, the defense budget, defense industrial base, export controls, export financing, international trade negotiations, international cooperative programs, foreign military sales, international air shows, homeland security and homeland defense. This position is responsible for building industry consensus among member companies on all topics related to the above issues. The incumbent oversees 7 positions, including the Technical Operations Department and the International Department.
