Assistant VP, Technical Operations
Aerospace Industries Association (Washington DC metro area) is seeking Assistant VP, Technical Operations to effectively direct committees/programs that include engineering, logistics, quality assurance, production, advanced research and technology and other technical operations matters; also serves as Director of the Aerospace Technical Operations Council. Duties: Monitors statutes, policies/regs that affect research, development, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, product support and spare parts, electronic commerce, electronic enterprise integration, technical training and publications, materiel management, telecommunications and information exchange, and information systems management; oversees activities of e-Business and Tech Ops councils; liaison with senior policy level counterparts in government regulatory organizations and aerospace industry customer orgs; oversees meeting arrangements for council sessions.
