AIA ANNOUNCES CHAIR OF PROCUREMENT AND FINANCE COUNCIL
January 22, 2001-WASHINGTON, D.C.- Richard J. Foley, vice president of Contracts for the Raytheon Company, has been appointed chair of the Aerospace Industries Association’s Procurement and Finance Council. He succeeds Art Charles of Hamilton Sundstrand.
As Raytheon’s vice president of Contracts, Foley is responsible for the performance of all the contracts management personnel supporting Raytheon’s core business areas. In addition, he is responsible for resolving contract negotiation problems, monitoring compliance with the company policy on contract negotiation and administration and preparing company positions on new or amended legislation and regulations affecting the acquisition process. During his more than 30-year career at Raytheon, Foley has held senior contract management positions with the company.
Foley received a master’s degree in business administration from Suffolk University and a bachelor’s degree in management from Northeastern University.
