The Aerospace Industries Association applauds the House and Senate Armed Services Committee for reaching final agreement on the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005. The conferees agreed to adopt a balanced and constructive approach on trade issues, including support for defense trade with the United Kingdom and Australia as well as consideration of the impact of offsets. The bill also makes significant contribution to the quality of life for our men and women in uniform as they fight terrorism around the world.
