Election Issues for 2008 AIA encourages the 2008 candidates to endorse 10 issues. The issues relate to each major sector of the aerospace industry – civil aviation, national security and space – and, as a group, will ensure that the nation's security and economy remain strong. Issues by Subject Throughout the year, our councils and committees work diligently on many other issues of importance to our members. Legislative Affairs AIA's Legislative Affairs actively promotes U.S. Aerospace Industry issues on Capitol Hill. Defense Trade Resources A clearinghouse of information for journalists -- or anyone else -- seeking facts, background, and even deciphering of acronyms regarding U.S. aerospace and defense company trade with foreign allies. |
