Meetings

Supplier Management Council Meetings
The SMC conducts three meetings a year in the United States and one meeting in conjunction with an international air show. The summer meeting focuses on legislative issues with a "March to Capitol Hill" where members have the opportunity to meet with key congressional representatives.

The spring and fall meetings are held near customer facilities, giving attendees special tours of the host company's production facilities. These meetings have speakers and workshops tailored to current issues and provide a forum for customers (AIA Regular Members) and suppliers (AIA Associate Members) to resolve problems in doing business. The meetings also provide networking opportunities to develop relationships among the industry's leading suppliers and prime companies.

Regional Meetings
Associate Members are invited to attend AIA's three annual regional meetings. These meetings enable dialogue among AIA Regular Members, legislative leaders, Associate Members, and AIA staff. The regional meetings focus on issues important to member companies in the host region, feature distinguished speakers, and include tours of the host's production facilities.
