Membership Agreement
Membership as an associate member in the Supplier Management Council (SMC) of the Aerospace Industries Association of America, Inc. is hereby applied for.

If elected to membership, the applicant hereby subscribes to and agrees to comply with the SMC charter and AIA bylaws. The applicant affirms that it qualifies under the following AIA bylaws provisions pertaining to membership:

Article II

Associate Membership
Section 2. Associate membership is available to suppliers of Regular members. Associate members have the right to participate in the activities of the Supplier Management Council only, except for an Associate member elected to the Board of Governors.

Any domestic business entity engaged in the production of aerospace systems, as defined by resolution of the Board of Governors, shall be eligible for membership, provided, however, that a business entity which is owned or substantially controlled financially by a foreign government, or which is a subsidiary or a division thereof, shall not be eligible for membership. "Production of aerospace systems" is defined to mean the manufacture of manned and unmanned aircraft, missiles, astronautical vehicles (hereafter referred to as "such products"), propulsion units or control equipment for such products, materials or structural componenets for such products, avionic, electronic or ground equipment necessary to the operation and functioning of such products, including subsystems, components, software or associated equipment, and providing services unique to the production or operation of aerospace systems, such as systems engineering and/or integration.
