Industry Data
AIA's Research Center conducts research and statistical analysis that provides AIA members with the most current and accurate "big" picture. The center also provides survey and consulting research assistance to members.

You will receive:

  • Aerospace Statistics - A series of periodic industry data on such matters as foreign trade, production, employment, and financial statistics.

  • A quarterly analysis of key economic indicators for the aerospace industry. Includes analysis and charts of sales, profits, orders, exports, and employment.

  • A complimentary copy of AIA's Aerospace Facts & Figures, an annual publication of more than 160 pages that highlights sales, earnings, orders, backlogs, civil and military aircraft production, foreign trade, space, employment, and more.

  • Year-End Review & Forecast, a yearly analysis, including companion tables, that forecasts the state of the aerospace industry.

  • Receive informative white papers on a variety of subjects, such as environmental, safety, and health issues, procurement and finance, trade laws and regulations, and space policy.

Communications
AIA's web site provides fast, up-to-date, and easy access to the work of the association. Members have password entry to association information of special interest to their companies.

Standards Representation
AIA is a leader in establishing industry standards. The association's National Aerospace Standards (NAS) are recognized and utilized by industry and defense agencies in the United States and throughout the world.

AIA holds the ISO Secretariat for the TC-20 Aircraft & Space Vehicles Committee. This organization works with other industry associations and authorities to promote industry-wide discussion of standards development.

As an AIA member, you can participate in the development of new and maintenance of existing standards.

International Air Shows
AIA coordinates military participation at major international air shows, including U.S. service displays of military aircraft and equipment. AIA also coordinates the schedules and events of senior visiting officials.

AIA also provides:

  • Access to U.S. government VIP's from the Defense and Commerce departments and the FAA through AIA-sponsored dinners and receptions.

  • Assistance in obtaining tickets to or sponsoring receptions.
