New AIA Report - Counterfeit Parts: Increasing Awareness and Developing Countermeasures
For the past several years AIA members and invited government agency guests have met to identify solutions that will effectively reduce the introduction of counterfeit parts into the aerospace supply chain. The culmination of a part of those efforts was published in an AIA report in March.

President Obama's November trip to India underscores the economic and strategic importance of strengthening this critical bilateral relationship. In his speech before the Indian Parliament, the president highlighted defense and civil aerospace as areas ripe for Indian-U.S. collaboration. Blakey Begins Second Year on NAC
AIA's President and CEO Marion C. Blakey is beginning her second year as chairman of the NASA Advisory Council's Aeronautics Committee. This year, the committee is tackling issues of great importance to AIA, including NASA's environmental research initiatives, unmanned aerial systems and verification and validation of critical air traffic software.
