Welcome New Members!

The Aerospace Industries Association is continuing its record growth in 2012. Yesterday, AIA’s Executive Committee approved the following new members. Congratulations and a very warm welcome on behalf of all of us here at AIA!

New Full Members:

Huntington Ingalls Industries designs, builds and maintains nuclear and non-nuclear ships for the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard and provides after-market services for military ships around the globe. HII is headquartered in Newport News, VA.

Microsemi Corporation offers a comprehensive portfolio of semiconductor solutions for aerospace, defense and security including enterprise, communications, industrial and alternative energy markets. Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. provides low volume/high mix manufacturing capability focused on the spare parts Legacy aircraft platforms. Ontic is a subsidiary of BBA Aviation plc.

SRA International designs, develops and provides systems engineering, data-mining, disaster planning, enterprise systems management, cyber security, air traffic management systems and services.

New Associate Members:

Astute Electronics, Inc. is an electronic components distributors and both global and UK parts suppliers of military, industrial and commercial grade electronic components including semiconductors, connectors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors.

Booz & Company, Inc. provides services to support aerospace companies with the improvement of design, development and manufacturing systems to lower costs, improve supply chain management, improve working capital management through cutting edge tools for inventory management, supplier management, product design and product strategy.

Pentecom, LLC converts aerospace technical manuals to commercial and military standard digital formats. The company also provides consulting services to aerospace companies and military organizations with regard to implementation of technical publications standards and actively participates in the AIA-sponsored United States S1000D Management Group and United States S1000D Implementation Group guiding US decisions on the S1000D technical publications standard.

TEVET, LLC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned & HubZone certified small business focused on the aerospace and defense sectors and is a Value Added Reseller (VAR) and distributor of electronic test and measurement equipment.

Turbine Controls, Inc. (TCI) is an FAA-approved repair station focused on the overhaul and repair of components and accessories for commercial, military, industrial and airframe applications.
