Aerospace and Defense Industry Recognizes Supplier Excellence
Irvine, California - The Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Aerospace & Defense Industry Supply Chain Awards were announced at an Awards Gala on November 6, 2007 at the Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, California.
SEA is the non-profit industry alliance of prime and tier-one contractors and progressive suppliers leading the aerospace and defense industry supply chain conversion. The inaugural Aerospace & Defense Industry Supply Chain Awards recognized the performance and leadership contributions of small- to mid-sized supplier companies.
Awards were announced at a black-tie gala attended by 45 award finalists and hundreds of supplier company executives and executives from prime and tier-one contractors. It was a glamorous and high-energy evening. Award presentations followed a reception and gala dinner. Looking very much like an Academy Awards ceremony, with TV star Eva La Rue (CSI Miami) serving as Mistress of Ceremonies, executives from both supplier companies and prime and tier-one contractors served as presenters for seven award categories.
In four of the seven categories, two awards were presented.
In the Leadership & Culture Award category, awards went to Cristek Interconnects, Inc., Anaheim, California and Photo Etch Company, Fort Worth, Texas.
In the Operational Excellence Award category, awards went to Esterline Kirkhill-TA Co., Brea, California and Photo Etch Company, Fort Worth, Texas.
In the Workforce Development Award category, awards went to Esterline Kirkhill-TA Co., Brea, California and Roberts Tool Company, Inc., Chatsworth, California.
In the Supply Chain Innovation Award category, the award went to Roberts Tool Company, Inc., Chatsworth, California.
