Mark Harris appointed Site Leader for Crane
LYNNWOOD, Wash. - Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Mark Harris as Site Leader of its Fort Walton Beach, Florida location. In this capacity, Harris will be responsible for manufacturing operations as well as site leadership, quality, operational excellence and strategic deployment at the Fort Walton Beach site. The Fort Walton Beach site designs and manufactures rugged, reliable, custom-build electronics for the Aerospace and Defense industries including low and high voltage power supplies, Traveling Wave Tube amplifiers and Radio Frequency transmitters. Harris joins Crane from Danaher Corporation, Gilbarco Veeder-Root division in Greensboro, North Carolina where he was Business Unit Director for Commercial Products, Fuel Management Systems, and Retail Solutions. Prior to that, Harris worked with Danaher Tool Group as well as with Textron Aerostructures, and Thomas & Betts. Harris holds both a Bachelors of Science in Operations Management from Tennessee Tech University, a Masters of Business Administration in Operations Research from the University of Arkansas, and a Lean Supply Chain Black Belt.
