NexNav” - Industry’s First GNSS Sensor Awarded Under TSO-C145b

Redmond, WA - Spectralux and Accord Software & Systems of Bangalore, India, today announced that their jointly developed NexNav" GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) WAAS Class Beta-3 Sensor has received FAA TSO-C145b certification. It is the first Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) Class Beta-3 Sensor to certify under this new TSO.
"Today's TSO approval is a landmark event for Chelton Flight Systems, Eclipse Aviation and L3 Avionics Systems, among the first to select NexNav" WAAS Beta-3 Sensor, to meet their individual requirements," said Michael Burke, Spectralux President.

NexNav" WAAS Class Beta-3 receiver card assemblies and LRUs (line replaceable units) form factors are key technologies enabling LPV (localizer performance with vertical guidance) approaches, ADS (automatic dependent surveillance) solutions, constant descent approaches and runway incursion solutions, leading the way for other advanced GNSS applications.
NexNav" is fully compliant with the new RTCA Minimum Operational Performance Standard, DO-229D.
