Kaman Acquires Global Aerosystems, LLC
BLOOMFIELD, Conn., Dec 10, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Kaman Corporation (NASDAQ-GS: KAMN) today announced that its subsidiary Kaman Aerospace Group, Inc. has completed the previously announced acquisition of Global Aerosystems, LLC (Global) of Everett, Washington. The transaction closed earlier today, and Global is now part of Kaman's Aerospace Segment. Terms were not disclosed.
Global, a provider of aerostructure engineering design analysis and FAA certification services to the aerospace industry is expected to have sales in 2010 of approximately $20 million. Customers include Boeing and Kawasaki Heavy Industries along with Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Bombardier, Aviation Partners Boeing and the Department of Defense.
