Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. That’s an understatement for the aerospace and defense industry, which is slated for $460 billion in cuts over the next 10 years and another $600 if the supercommittee can’t agree to $1.2 in cuts. This transition is going to vastly different from earlier cycles as industry has been rightsizing, slimming down and leaning up for some time now. Our message is “No more cuts. Defense has already been cut to the bone.”
