On Friday, Feb. 4 the Secretary of Defense and Director of National Intelligence published the first-ever jointly signed National Security Space Strategy. The strategy, which will help guide acquisition, planning and space operations over the next decade, incorporates long-sought priorities of AIA.

In a press release AIA’s President and CEO Marion C. Blakey stated, “Defense Secretary Gates and Director of National Intelligence Clapper are to be congratulated for the first ever jointly signed National Security Space strategy.
