Second to None: In the ring in 2012

Sequestration could send our national security, economy and technological competitiveness into a tailspin. The Second to None campaign to fight sequestration will continue at a breakneck pace in 2012 and build on 2011 achievements.

In 2011, the campaign closed out with several press briefings, dozens of op-eds, letters to the editor and press articles under its belt. The year closed with an employee rally attended by approximately 350 workers at BAE Systems in York, PA.

Shortly, a new study by Deloitte LLC will be released. The study has state-by-state economic information on a number of measures such as revenues, salaries, tax contribution and trade that demonstrates the industry’s economic contribution to the nation.
