AIA Introduces Product Support Executive Board Papers on In-Sourcing

Recently, members of the AIA Product Support Executive Board and other logistics experts convened a working session to assess the impact of in-sourcing policies enacted by the Defense Department. The group plans to publish a series of white papers covering topics such as what is good for the warfighter and taxpayer, impact on the industrial base and in-sourcing vs. outcome-based contracting, among others.

Each month two papers will be posted to the AIA website, culminating in a final Impact Report – envisioned for spring 2011 – that will consolidate the discussions within the papers.

The Product Support Executive Board is the leadership group that oversees the Product Support Committee. The PSC reports to the AIA Technical Operations Council.
