SMC Committees

The Supplier Management Council has established eight action-oriented committees. All members are welcome and encouraged to participate as much as they are comfortable to ensure the committees are successful in addressing all supplier concerns.

Contact Bill Peterson or Peggy Boyd to join a committee today.

About the SMC

Get Active

AIA established the Supplier Management Council (SMC) to improve the relationship between suppliers and customers. The council recognizes that many suppliers serve numerous customers that compete and team with one another. The SMC is the forum where customers (AIA Regular Members) and suppliers (AIA Associate Members) come together to resolve problems in doing business. By resolving the challenges and helping educate companies in the aerospace and defense supply base, the aerospace industry remains a healthy, vibrant, and cutting edge component of the U.S. national economy.

If you are an Associate Member and wish to get active in the SMC, please contact Peggy Boyd at peggy.boyd[at]aia-aerospace.org. If you are an AIA Regular Member and wish to get active in the SMC, contact William Peterson at william.peterson[at]aia-aerospace.org. If you are interested in AIA Membership, contact Karn Henderson at karn.henderson[at]aia-aerospace.org

Supplier Management Council

The Supplier Management Council is a unique aerospace forum where customers, AIA Regular Member companies, and AIA Associate Member companies unite to find solutions. Established in 1997, the Supplier Management Council (SMC) is the primary industry forum for improving the relationship between suppliers and customers.
