Assessing & Mitigating Risk: COVID-19 and Vulnerabilities in the Aerospace & Defense Supply Chain

May 14 - 14 2020

Thursday, May 14th
4:00 – 5:00 PM EST

The COVID-19 pandemic is a tremendous hurdle for many industries, including aerospace and defense (A&D). This webinar, hosted by the Aerospace Industries Association and KPMG and moderated by Jim Adams, National A&D Leader, will examine the potential short and long term impacts this crisis could have on the industry’s supply chain as we navigate the crisis and move toward the recovery.

KPMG’s Steve Beckey and Tom Mayor, partners in KPMG’s A&D Strategy practice will describe how other events and factors have magnified the supply chain vulnerabilities, from a lack of liquidity to difficulty maintaining affordability through a downcycle and ensuring supply capacity and stability while returning to rate. The webinar will also put forward actions that A&D players throughout the supply chain must take to assess need and prioritize help during the immediate COVID-19 crisis, an extended downturn in commercial aircraft demand and the potential federal budget pressures on defense spending to come. KPMG will also lay out critical success factors and proactive steps A&D companies can take to reposition, overcome this crisis, and maximize success in the future.

We hope you’re able to join us for this virtual discussion!
