Arlington, Va. – As Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) enforcement reshapes defense contracting, the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has launched a website designed to help defense contractors and suppliers navigate the Pentagon’s new requirements, identify trusted solutions, and move confidently toward compliance.

“Cybersecurity is inseparable from national security, and the Aerospace Industries Association is committed to helping companies across the defense industrial base meet CMMC standards,” said Eric Fanning, AIA President and CEO. “AIA’s new CMMC Marketplace gives defense contractors and suppliers a clear, accessible way to understand the requirements and quickly find the tools and partners that can help them achieve compliance faster — strengthening both their competitiveness and our nation’s security.”

Since CMMC went live in November 2025, companies across the defense industrial base — including small and midsized suppliers — have been working to align with CMMC requirements as part of a shared effort with the Pentagon to strengthen cybersecurity and protect sensitive information. As requirements continue to be implemented across a diverse and complex supply chain, many companies are seeking greater clarity and practical resources to support compliance while maintaining competitiveness and resilience.

The marketplace bolsters AIA’s ongoing policy engagement by helping companies move from understanding the rules to taking informed, practical steps toward compliance.
