Arlington, Va. – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today urged members of the House to pass the reconciliation package that would boost funding for America’s defense industrial base and air traffic control system as well as revitalize pro-job tax policies:

“The final reconciliation package is a powerful boost to America’s defense, aviation, and manufacturing strength. With $100 billion in investment for the defense industrial base, additional funding to modernize America’s air traffic control system, and a return to pro-America tax policies like immediate R&D expensing, it ensures our warfighters stay equipped with cutting-edge technology while supporting safety, innovation, and job creation across the aerospace sector,” Fanning said. “The Aerospace Industries Association urges the House of Representatives to advance this legislation, and we look forward to partnering with Congress as the bill continues to progress.”
