Catherine GridleyExecutive Vice President & President Aerospace & Defense Sector, TTM Technologies Inc.

Catherine Gridley is a proven international executive with more than 20 years of global leadership experience in defense and commercial industries, with a strong emphasis in aerospace and defense. Cathie is passionate about developing talent and building strong teams to deliver outstanding results and sustainable, profitable growth. 

In 2019, Cathie was appointed an officer of TTM Technologies and holds the role of Executive Vice President and President of the Aerospace and Defense Sector. The A&D business is focused on supporting customers in the aerospace sector with an emphasis on military and defense technologies. It is the A&D industry’s largest manufacturer of printed circuit boards and custom assemblies in North America. 

Before joining TTM, Cathie was an officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation, holding the position of Vice President and General Manager, leading the $1.3B Advanced Defense Services division with over 5,000 employees worldwide. In addition to her daily responsibilities with Northrop, Cathie held multiple Board positions: NTESS, a Honeywell company that manages and operates Sandia National Laboratories; Chairman of Vinnell Arabia, a $450M Northrop joint venture in Saudi Arabia; and Chairman of NSTec, a joint venture overseeing the Nevada National Security Site. 

Before Northrop Grumman, Cathie held senior P&L leadership positions with DynCorp International as Vice President – Aviation, providing mission-critical support to the defense industry, and as President – Customer Services at GE Aviation Systems, leading their largest UK manufacturing location and running the global aftermarket and end-user customer base of over 1,400 customers in 140 countries. Cathie also held P&L leadership positions for Goodrich and TRW and controllership positions earlier in her career. 

Cathie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ithaca College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Binghamton University. Cathie grew up in upstate New York, has lived in multiple cities in the U.S. and the U.K., and now resides in Central New York with her husband, David.
