Arlington, Va. – The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) today announced that Chris Carnahan has been promoted to Vice President of Standards, effective immediately. Carnahan previously served as the Assistant Vice President of Standards.
“Few people have had a greater impact on the aerospace and defense industry than Chris,” AIA President and CEO Eric Fanning said. “Through his leadership of the Aerospace Industries Association’s National Aerospace Standards, he has helped make aerospace manufacturing safer, more efficient, and better focused on quality. After nearly 18 years at AIA, this promotion is well deserved, and we look forward to his continued contributions in the years ahead.”
AIA also announced that Madeline Carlson has been promoted to Senior Manager of Standards.
