Farnborough, UK – Today Aerospace Industries Association President and CEO Eric Fanning presented Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) with “The Wright Stuff” award at the Farnborough International Airshow. The award is given to leaders who have made exemplary contributions to advancing America’s aerospace and defense capabilities, and champion policies that promote the industry’s global competitiveness. 

“Senator Shaheen has been a tireless champion for American aerospace and defense throughout her decades of public service — always recognizing that our nation’s leadership in this sector is inseparable from its prosperity, security, and technological edge,” said AIA President and CEO Eric Fanning. “Her steadfast support for manufacturers and the 2.1 million Americans who power our industry has strengthened America’s competitiveness and left a lasting mark on our country. The Aerospace Industries Association is honored to present Senator Shaheen with the Wright Stuff Award in recognition of her leadership, partnership, and service.”
