The DTC formulates positions on the export of defense products and works cooperatively with overseas partners to encourage the purchase of U.S. equipment. The DTC’s advocacy centers on promoting responsible international defense trade activity, obtaining the active support of the U.S. government in helping promote the sale of U.S. defense products and ensuring fair and open market access for defense technology trade and investment in established and emerging markets.
