AIA’s Supply Chain Policy & Advocacy Council (SCPAC) is a unique, non-attributional forum where senior supply chain representatives from manufacturers and system integrators tackle policy issues that impact the aerospace and defense supply chain. Open to both Full and Associate Members, the council’s mission is to integrate and focus the collective capabilities of the supply chain, at every level, to shape policy and strategies that enable the U.S. aerospace and defense industry to successfully compete in the global market, enhance resiliency, and strengthen the U.S. position as the world leader.
The SCPAC hosts biannual meetings each year, where industry leaders converge to discuss policy and advocacy needs for supply chain challenges. In addition, the SCPAC hosts regional roundtables across the country, which bring together supply chain leaders from small, medium, and large companies to foster collaboration and innovation throughout the ecosystem. In addition to standing committees, other ad hoc committees are stood up on a limited basis to address key supply chain concerns. The supply chain programming is led by the Supplier Leadership Committee (SLC). Members of the SLC are determined by election every two years.
