Arlington, Va. – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today praised the Senate and House Armed Services Committees, under the leadership of Senator Roger Wicker (R-AL) and Congressman Mike Rogers (R-AL), for unveiling legislation that invests $150 billion in defense priorities as part of reconciliation efforts.
“This legislation is a significant step toward modernizing America’s military capabilities for the needs of the future,” said Eric Fanning. “The $150 billion investment will not only boost our defense industrial base but also ensure that our warfighters are equipped with the latest technology and resources necessary to maintain our military superiority across every domain: air, land, sea, and space.
