Arlington, Va. – Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning today commended the inclusion of key tax provisions in House Ways and Means Committee reconciliation legislation:
“The Aerospace Industries Association welcomes the tax policies included in the Ways and Means Committee bill that will incentivize job creation and American manufacturing, including the return to immediate research and development expensing,” Fanning said. “This policy extends a critical lifeline to America’s most innovative aerospace and defense companies – especially small businesses that rely on this cash flow – and will keep us on the cutting edge of the technology that has long enabled American dominance in our sector. We appreciate the leadership of Chairman Smith and his Committee, as well as Reps. Estes and Larson, who have championed this fix.”
