The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) recently submitted feedback to the Office of Management and Budget and Department of War regarding the ninth tranche of revisions released under the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul effort — FAR Part 9 (Contractor Qualifications), Part 33 (Protests, Disputes, & Appeals), and Part 49 (Termination of Contracts). The comments emphasize the need for a clear and equitable ruleset regarding contractor performance assessments, protests and appeals, and contract terminations. AIA and our members support the ongoing effort to modernize and streamline the federal procurement system and look forward to continued engagement on this initiative.
