The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has submitted recommendations to Congress in support of robust funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the FY26 appropriations process. Representing nearly 300 aerospace and defense companies, AIA underscores the importance of civil aviation to the U.S. economy and trade balance, and calls for full funding of the President’s $4 billion request for the FAA’s Facilities and Equipment account. AIA appreciates the strong support for FAA programs provided in the past years by the Appropriations Committees, and respectfully makes the following requests related to FAA programs in the Department of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026.
