The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) has submitted recommendations to Congress in support of strong and sustained funding for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the FY27 appropriations process. Representing hundreds of aerospace companies and more than 2.2 million American workers, AIA emphasizes the critical role of civil aviation in the U.S. economy and calls for continued investment to maintain global leadership in aviation safety, modernize the National Airspace System, and support emerging technologies. AIA offers the following recommendations for consideration in the Department of Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD) Appropriations Act, 2027.
