The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) released a letter urging Congress to maintain NASA’s Aeronautics Research and Space Technology programs as distinct, separately funded accounts within the agency’s new Research and Technology Mission Directorate. AIA emphasized that sustained federal investment is critical to advancing aviation technologies, strengthening the U.S. aerospace industrial base, and maintaining U.S. leadership in global aerospace.
