Ilsa MrozSenior Manager, Space Systems
Ilsa Mroz is the Senior Manager of the Space Systems division at the Aerospace Industries Association. In this role, she works with AIA members to support and advocate for relevant industry issues in civil, commercial, and national security space. She also oversees policy initiatives on sustainable space and orbital debris.
Prior to coming to AIA, Ilsa served as a policy intern with the City of Albuquerque and with the New Mexico State Legislature, where she focused on strengthening and supporting the state’s aerospace industry. Additionally, she worked with the Virginia Air and Space Science Center, where she assisted in bringing STEM education and mentorship initiatives to diverse communities
Ilsa holds an M.A in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University, a B.A in Political Science from the University of New Mexico, and a Certificate in Private Pilot Training from San Diego Miramar College.
